Effective October 1, 2018, The Parts House (TPH) acquired the assets of Congress Auto Parts, including five locations in Palm Beach County, Florida. TPH, the largest independent auto parts distributor in the Southeast, is excited to add the Congress stores and personnel to its team.
“Congress has a well-earned reputation for excellent customer service over a period of 40+ years in the business; this matches up well with TPH” said David Honig, President of TPH. “Johnny Espinosa and his team are among the most highly respected people in the market. We anticipate growing their core business along with an improving B2B model with large inventories of original equipment and aftermarket parts for all makes and models.”
Johnny Espinosa, former owner of Congress Auto Parts, stated “We are excited about joining The Parts House team. We welcome the resources, energy and innovation that TPH will bring.”
With this acquisition, TPH now has 48 locations in Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Puerto Rico.
TPH is a member of the Automotive Distribution Network (“Parts Plus”), a leading program distribution group that focuses on marketing, technology and purchasing.
TPH is part of Marubeni Automotive Aftermarket Holdings, which also owns XL Parts out of Houston, TX.
